Präpositionen

German prepositions (Präpositionen) always decide the case of the noun that follows. That’s the key thing to learn: not just what a preposition means, but which case it takes — Akkusativ, Dativ, Genitiv, or (for two-way prepositions) either Akkusativ or Dativ.
